WORKPLACE DIFFICULTIES

Workplace Difficulties

"Working hard for something we don't care about is called stress. Working hard for something we love is called passion." ~ Simon Sinek
Workplace Problems
Given that we often spend more waking hours with our colleagues than our family and friends, developing healthy workplace relationships is essential for both career success and personal well-being.

Unfortunately, if you're like most of us, you probably work with a few people you wouldn't have hired yourself, either because of their personal attributes or lack of professional skills. Some workplace relationships are very difficult to develop - let alone maintain, and will frequently test your interpersonal skills.

An unhealthy work environment substantially increases stress and anxiety, and decreases work engagement, performance and even your physical health. Whereas, good working relationships increase your ability to gain support and manage barriers that inevitably come up along the way. They lead to greater levels of engagement, higher job satisfaction, make it more enjoyable for you  to be at work - and can even open doors to future opportunities!
